Andrew Ross is Chief Executive of Schroder & Co. Ltd, which trades under the brand of Cazenove Capital Management and is the Wealth Management business of Schroders in UK. He is also Global Head of Wealth Management for the Schroders Group and sits on the Group Management Committee. He was previously Chief Executive of HSBC Asset Management (Europe) Limited between 1998 and 2001. Prior to that, Andrew was Managing Director of James Capel Investment Management which he joined in 1985. After graduating from Southampton University with a First Class degree in Ancient History, Andrew served a short commission in the Royal Green Jackets. He has 31 years of investment experience.
Chief Financial Officer (Schroders plc)
Richard joined Schroders in May 2013 as Chief Financial Officer and is currently responsible for finance, risk, treasury, corporate development, tax, investor relations, internal audit and HR. He joined Schroders from PricewaterhouseCoopers where he was a senior audit partner in PWC’s financial services practice. Richard is a Chartered Accountant and graduated in 1983 with a BSc in Biology from London University.
Deputy Chief Executive
Mary-Anne joined in 2001 and heads the Wealth Management business in the UK. She joined from Baring Asset Management where she had been Head of Private Client Service and prior to that was Managing Director of the Paris office. Mary-Anne previously spent 7 years in corporate finance at Baring Brothers and 7 years at Chase Manhattan Bank in London.
Head of Banking and Treasury
Alex joined in 2003 to work on the review and analysis of lending proposals, and the development and management of credit and banking products. Alex has 19 years of private banking experience.
Head of Compliance and Risk
Jeremy joined in 2005 and is responsible for compliance procedures and monitoring programmes as well as ensuring a strong compliance culture. Jeremy joined from Schroders and was previously Head of Compliance & Risk Monitoring at Gartmore. Prior to this Jeremy supervised regulated firms at IMRO.
Chief Financial Officer
Carolyn joined in 2007. She joined from Lazard where she was Finance Director in London. Previously Carolyn trained as a Chartered Accountant with Touche Ross.
Non Executive Director
Tom was appointed as a non-executive Director of Schroder & Co. Limited and Chairman of the Wealth Management Audit and Risk Committee in 2014. Tom was the Chief Financial Officer at AIG Europe Limited, and before that he was the Vice Chairman and Co-Chief Operating Officer at Willis Limited. Tom is non-executive chairman of Cambridge TopCo Limited and a non-executive director of Hastings Group Holdings plc.
Non Executive Director
Sue was appointed as a non-executive Director of Schroder & Co. Limited and member of the Wealth Management Audit and Risk Committee in March 2016. She held senior roles at Lloyds Banking Group plc from 2008 to 2013 including as Finance Director of Cheltenham and Gloucester, Divisional Finance Director posts and Group Audit Director from 2012 to 2013. Prior to Lloyds Sue held senior positions at Standard Life plc and Marks and Spencer Group plc where she was Group Treasurer and Head of Corporate Development. Sue is a chartered management accountant and currently holds non-executive positions at Bank of Ireland (UK) plc and Abcam plc, where she is chairman of the audit and risk committee. She is also a member of the Codes and Standards Committee and Audit & Assurance Council of the UK Financial Reporting Council.
